Indigenous Australian Foods Ltd (IAF) was established by Aboriginal people and communities in 2001 as a company limited by guarantee. The members of IAF saw an opportunity to become involved in a legitimate and ethical supply chain partnership with mainstream Australian business.

Outback Spirit products are endorsed by IAF and all proudly carry the IAF endorsement logo.
