The Hope Vale community is located some 50Km North of Cooktown in far North Queensland. Within the Community there are a number of with Indigenous landholders (block holders) who have recently formally acquired 30 year leases for the land they farm and live on.

The Foundation is, working with the Balkanu Cape York Development Corporation  and block holders to develop Kakadu Plum Davidson Plum, Lemon Aspen and Lemon Myrtle orchards in anticipation of securing supply contracts with Robins Foods Pty Ltd

Additionally, the Foundation is working with Coles, Balkanu and the block holders to develop cash crops including eggplant, corn, strawberries, potatoes, melon and strawberries and tropical flowers that can be sold to Coles stores in North Queensland.
