Lemon Myrtle Coconut Chilli Nut Free Dukkah 60g
Provenance: Lemon Myrtle is endemic to the coastal rainforest regions of Northern NSW and Soth Eastern Queensland with some found in Far North Queensland also. We use the leaves from these magnificent trees. The leaves are dried and ground to make a beautiful aromatic herb that has very high levels of the essential oil Citral. Lemon Myrtle, as the name suggests has an intense lemon flavour with elements of lemongrass and lemon verbena.
Lemon Myrtle is infused into a delicious blend of sesame seeds, shredded coconut with chilli, garlic and chives and the outcome is just super delicious. We call them Sprinkles but they are just like a dukkah except with no nuts as coconuts are not an allergen or classified as tree nuts but rather the fruit of a coconut palm,
So apart from using as a nut free Dukkah what else can use Lemon Myrtle Coconut Chilli Sprinkles you ask? Let us count the ways:
