And yes, it is a little more expensive this way but Coles benefited from the very high volume of their purchases of Outback Spirit and we simply cannot use that manufacturing scale when not supplying Coles. No more unfortunately

I have been consistently buying a 6 pack of Chili Ginger & Wild Lime Sauce for quite a long time and enjoy it. I rarely have spare money being 82 and on the aged pension but I always found enough to save to buy more as the time came around.
I had to be frugal so I always used Amazon to avoid the shipping costs.

On the last occasion Amazon had no stock so I contacted Outback Spirit direct and was pleasantly surprised at such a great offer and customer service when they. said they would forward from their office direct and waive the delivery fee due to the circumstances.

I was directed to purchase and they would reimburse the fee of $18.75.

It is only a small amount in the overall scheme of things but as a % of the total sale it adds another 45% which is unacceptable to me so I was extremely pleased with the gesture to reimburse that.

Chronologically events are as follows:-
On 15th September I contacted Outback Spirit to no more than inform them Amazon had no stock. I was advised to wait 2 weeks and they would have stock.

On 27th October I again informed Outback Spirit that Amazon still had no stock. To their credit they ap0logised and offered to send the consignment to me from their office and reimburse the shipping.

That was a great outcome.

I paid $59.70 as requested on 28th. October.
On 30th. October the order arrived.

To date 10th. November the $18.70 shipping has not been reimbursed.

On several occasions I took the time to advise Outback Spirit as to what the stock situation was with Amazon without asking or expecting anything more. Purely as a heads up to assist them with no expectation of further involvement.

I have had no further correspondence {OR reimbursement] since I forwarded my bank details on October 30th.

The chasing around, albeit that they tried to help, simply isn't worth it.

This is my favourite sauce, the flavors are amazing. Very happy to be able to buy online! Fabulous to use with a Thai Salad in summer or a beef stir fry with rice in the colder months Also great as a dipping sauce, I'll never run out of this sauce again so please keep this amazing sauce in stock :)
